Mr. Church was born in Montgomery , Alabama on November 22, 1977 .  He has lived in Colorado for most of his life.  Due to John Denver's powerful influence on his parents, he moved to Colorado in 1979.  He has been associated with Jefferson County Schools for almost two decades.  Mr. Church attended Belmar Elementary until the third grade.  When his family moved to Littleton , he attended Shaffer Elementary, Deer Creek, and finally Chatfield Senior High.  After graduating high school, Mr. Church went to college at the University of Northern Colorado. “Go Bears!” 

Mr. Church started working at Kendallvue in January of 2001.  That following summer, he went on to pursue his second passion, coaching high school football.  He returned to his former high school to make sure that no one had broken his single season tackling record, and joined the staff of Dave Logan.  As fate would have it, Chatfield won state that year with a perfect 14 – 0 record .  Two years of coaching at Chatfield, Mr. Church went with Coach Logan to Mullen High School .  In 2004, the Mustangs won state with a 13 – 1 record. In 2005 and 2006, Mullen also made a state championship appearances, but fell short.

Currently Mr. Church lives in Lakewood. He doesn't have any kids, but he does own a yellow labrador named Bailey who will turn eight years old next November.
